It is not a 3d editor. It is strictly a 2d editor that lets you manipulate videos of 3d characters to simulate 3d actions.
If you are looking to use for CSP purely as a way to quickly and easily put together videos from templates and assets then you will eventually need the full package. However, if you are willing to spend some time and get into the tools that are part of the basic package you can create your own assets. The basic package is more than worth the price. It will allow you to quickly create great videos.
I use it several hours a day to test ideas and concepts. I can quickly and easily put together a video concept before spending the hours necessary in other programs to finalize the concept.
If you are new to video animation, then it is a cheap way to see if it is something you want to get involved in.

The basic package ($67 one time)
This package includes all of the CSP basic functionality, a large number of templates and samples of many of the optional assets.
IT DOES NOT INCLUDE SAMPLES OF EVERY ASSET CATEGORY. The Bobbleheads and many other categories are not included.
You do get a 30 day trial period so you can try the program and get a refund if you decide not to keep it.
License – You can install the program on 2 devices. You can only run 1 instance of CreateStudio on a single pc.

CSP Official Tutorial Site
The CS Tutorials are pretty good, however using them is not very intuitive and finding specific is very difficult.
Linking to specific pages has been disable and cannot be done.

CSP Official Tech Support Page
This page is used to search the knowledge data base and to create support tickets.
This page has a search feature to help find specific subjects. However, it is not always helpful.
Creating a support ticked.
You must log in and start a conversation.
Follow the steps and be sure to press the ‘update’ button.
After you have entere a support request you can periodically prss the update button to get the status. Also, tech support will send you an email with an answer.
Tech Support generally responds within 2 hours.
