Geometry Nodes
Geometry Nodes are incredibly powerful, but with power comes complexity. You must learn not only now the nodes work, but in the order they must be addded.

Suggested (if not required) Perquisites
-Blender Basics
Node Basics
– Modifiers – Arrays
When first setting up plane and add cube make sure to ctrl-a and scale.
The objects to be scaled will only scale when in edit mode

Geometry Node Basic joey Carilio
= they are modifiers and work as such
– you can use more than 1 in an object

Steps
1. Opening Nodes
add a plane and rename ControlPlane
add a cube and rename RefCube
2. Select the cube and add a Geometry Node
3. shiftA add geometry

– allows node to be moved around
3. Add Join Node

Math – Formulas

CodeGrepper

Triangular Prism CodeGrepper

Remember the formula for calculating volume is:
Volume = Area by height
= A X h.

For a triangle the area is calculated using the formula:
Area = half of base by altitude
A = 0.5 X b X a.

So to calculate the volume of a triangular prism, the formula is:
0.5 X b X a X h.
